             Fall Features Vancouver's BRONSINO

This coming season at Lord's we are heels over handbags to show you new  leather goods from a Vancouver local design house. Bronsino Designs is the best of both worlds: smart looking small leather goods and purses with a "Zero Waste" philosophy when it comes to re purposing their trimmings. Read below what designer Denise Wilson shared with us. Also, watch out for our GIFT with PURCHASE featuring Bronsino leather clutches!!!

Patina Designs & Bronsino Designs for Living are dedicated to zero waste principles and to the creation of unique work from repurposed materials.

"When we talk about repurposed materials we are referring to discarded jackets, clothing and furniture. We give them a new life.

Sometimes our clients will even bring their own outdated garments or other leathers to us and ask us to make a special piece for them. For our linings we often use overstock fabrics from local furniture factories. These are very high quality, durable, often upholstery grade materials that were surplus to requirements. Our handbags and accessories that are made from new leather are made from Italian and Spanish leathers that we often hand pick ourselves - and we never use exotic skins. The mandate of zero waste is very important to us. Basically what that means is that we use everything up. There is very little waste. We cut the largest items first and keep cutting down to using the smallest pieces right down to making our own handmade leather buttons."

The finely crafted handbags & accessories from the Bronsino collection are classically inspired works of art produced in very limited numbers. The Patina line is the happy go lucky younger cousin & maintains the same high quality. Both lines are made by hand in Vancouver, B.C.
